After 7 years, over 100 performances and two albums with The Elevators (and the birth of two grandchildren), Aryeh Naftaly returned to his acoustic roots with "Lions Purr" (no apostrophe - it's a statement of fact), 12 new songs about love, faith and family. This was Aryeh's 6th solo outing and 14th album in all and as on his seminal albums "Songs of Love & Faith," "Tohar" and "Waiting for Elijah" he plays an array of instruments - guitars, cello, mandolin, saxophones, flutes, pedal steel, percussion and more - weaving an intimate lyrical tapestry that young and old can enjoy.
