Two shining diamonds aligning along Orion's belt Two thousand light years between us at least that's how it felt When the winter ended Somehow we transcended Meteoric shower Pure magnetic power A couple of loners you and me So tell me how can it be We're achieving jubilation We've got a taste of love divine Heaven's intoxicating wine We're achieving jubilation Where Venus and Mars collide Baby I'll meet you on the other side We're achieving jubilation Extraordinary love We've got all of the above We're achieving jubilation Two lone electrons careening around a molecule Nothing but pure simple nuclear energy for fuel And when we collided Mercury ignited As though it were fated We were liberated A couple of loners you and me...

Out in the desert where the sand and sun collide Fate brought you and me together Maybe it was the times and we were both so very young And pretended nothing really mattered But I kept you at a distance Even though it caused you pain I was holding out for some fantasy That could never be You and I have both moved on now And through all this time I can't right that wrong So I wrote these words in a desert love song Hope they're good enough Those halcyon days were so easy to recall It's those dark ones I really can't remember And the memories fade thought I wish it wasn't true Though I know we had fun together But I kept you at a distance Even though it caused you pain I was holding out for some fantasy That could never be You and I have both moved on now And through all this time I still can't right that wrong So I wrote these words in a desert love song Hope they're good enough

All Heaven broke loose When we went up to the mountain Reconnected with the fountain All Heaven broke loose Celestial juice There was lightning there was thunder Blue sky was torn asunder All Heaven broke loose It was always just a thought away We thought we'd save it for a rainy day But when it finally came to push and shove We decided it was easier to love All Heaven broke loose We were praying we were hoping When the key fit in the opening All Heaven broke loose Celestial juice There was no why there was no whether All the pieces fit together All Heaven broke loose It was always... All Heaven broke loose There was lightning there was thunder There was silence there was wonder All Heaven broke loose

1941 05:46
Midnight 1941 How could I have known that My love would soon be gone Your eyes Sparkled in the light The rhythm of the music The stillness of the night It's the same old story It's the same old game The martyr's illusion But the victim's the same Stubborn The dreams in me remained The fantasy of one day We could live like them I was Blinded to the truth We could never change them And that there was no excuse It's the same old story... Evening 2017 The memories of our children And the life that we never had Sometimes When the day is drawing down I still see their faces Their little hands reaching out It's the same old story... Feel the pull Feel the pull Of the ground beneath my feet Pray again Pray again Pray again if I can Reach out your hand Seek out my heart Take my pain away Reach out your hand Seek out my heart Take my pain away...

Along a crowded city street Trying to stay out from under people's feet And when he tries to catch my eye I shudder then I sigh There but for the grace of God go I To never know a motherland Under the hammer of an angry man We're not so different though we try And in the by and bye There but for the grace of God go I So many blessings we leave uncounted If we only knew to what they amounted Waiting for the phone to ring A knock on the door could only mean one thing If Mom and Dad were you and me How grateful could we be? There but for the grace of God go we

Civil Cynic 06:17
He's going to screw us over again I don't believe anything he says His intentions they don't matter All that gold on a silver platter So politely we must decline Don't take it wrong you may be fine It's just that I'm a bit of a cynic Sometimes it just doesn't seem fair I see happy people everywhere Why aren't they like me, in despair? Going through life without a care To that easy place I shall resign Where being right is the greatest prize And the king of the land is a cynic All of my life I've fought it Why did God have to make me a cynic Isn't life hard enough as it is? Even though the cup's half full It's the empty part that keeps on pushing through So why do I keep coming back for more? Why should I try when I lose every time? Play by the rules and get charged with a crime Why go on living just to be old and stricken? I never even bother counting my chickens So take comfort in that certain pride Of living a life that was never tried It's always really safe being a cynic

Monday came bright and sunny A new week's promise to fill No Monday blues and a new pair of shoes Brought a smile to my face Optimistic embrace of the day Now it's Wednesday morning The fog so thick in my head And hard as I try can't recall where I've been So I'll chalk it all up To this large empty cup by my side I'll never know What ever happened to Tuesday Tuesday smiled at the doorman A radiant beauty in bloom And charming the scene with eyes bright and green Made me notice her face Had the tiniest trace of doubt Now no one whispers her name The shadow the tears and the shame And try as I may I really can't say That the luckiest star Sometimes takes you too far away I'll never know What ever happened to Tuesday I'll never know What ever happened to Tuesday I'll never know What ever happened?

Magic Man 04:42
Magic Man In the morning of the new moon On a new year in the desert's womb So I've heard the story told Six one three two four eight Another three six five is all I have today Can't find no magic man in the count Bowing down to the man in black We placed our faith in a golden calf Won't be the last time that we fall Just give us one more chance To make amends at last and to cleanse our past It's so damn hard to get things right But here comes the Magic Man With his magic books and his magic plans He's gonna make everything alright No more war, no more strife And we'll all dress in black and white He's everything you'll ever want 'Cause Magic Man killed God But here comes the Magic Man... We've been waiting for too many years For a magic man to assuage our fears But the blood it always flows I am the Lord your God There is no one but me, not here or beyond Magic Man got nothing on me So there goes the Magic Man Take your magic books, take your magic plans Know that we're gonna be alright Sometimes dark and sometimes light It's just the way God metes out life He's everything we'll ever want Cause Magic Man can't kill God

Way Back In 04:37
In the beauty of the darkness The beauty of the darkness May you be the night In the valley of the shadows The valley of the shadows May your step be light And when you find yourself in doubt May you find your way back out and When you're out of love again May you find your way back in In your hour of depression Your hour of depression May your friends be near In your moment of obsession Your moment of obsession May your thoughts be clear And when you find yourself in doubt... When you need some inspiration You need some inspiration May it fill your veins When you need a little lovin' You need a little lovin' May it fall like rain And when you find yourself in doubt...

Walk With Me 05:07
Won't you walk with me Down this road I'm on Won't you walk with me and Hold my hand Won't you walk with me Down this road I'm on And help me understand Help me understand Won't you walk with me Down this lonely beach And feel the sand between your toes Won't you walk with me Down this lonely beach And catch the wind in your hair Catch the wind in your hair Where's that light that was in your eyes Where's that smile that won my heart Where's that touch that made me feel Like the whole world was meant for us Like the whole world was meant for us Won't you walk with me Down this road I'm on Won't you walk with me and Hold my hand Won't you walk with me Down this road I'm on Help me understand

about

Pitched somewhere between the Grateful Dead and Steely Dan (with a dollop of Philly soul thrown in for good measure), All of the Above is The Elevators' fourth album and first in English - and the first to feature songs written and sung by keyboardist Rob Steiner. While delving deeper into the themes of love and faith in the 21st century The Elevators never lose their trademark sense of humor and adventure. This album features new sounds and textures, as well as a host of guest vocalists including Israel Portnoy, Gavriel Naftaly, Eden Tsour and Daniella Milo.
